Estimate your 2017 School Real Estate Tax bill for the Weatherly Area School District

Directions: The purpose of the tax calculator is to provide the tax payers of Weatherly Area School District with the opportunity of calculating their proposed real estate tax bill effective July 1, 2017. The following steps will guide you through the process of entering information into the cost calculator and calculating your upcoming real estate tax bill.

Enter your Property Assessment Value in the first box. This is located on your tax bill next to "Assessed Value".

Select County Box: Choose 'Carbon County' by selecting the circle next to it.

Property Tax Relief Box:
Homestead: If there is a number on your 2016 tax bill next to "Homestead Reduction", you are currently enrolled in the program and receive homestead tax relief. If you do not have a copy of your 2014 tax bill you can find this information on the county websites listed in step 1. Once you determined you are enrolled, Carbon County residents who receive full homestead relief should type in 5819.
Farmstead: If there is a number on your 2016 tax bill next to "Farmstead Reduction", you are currently enrolled in the program and receive farmstead tax relief.
a. If your property receives BOTH Farmstead and Homestead Tax Relief, choose 'I receive BOTH Farmstead and Homestead Tax Relief'. Enter (type in) '5819' in BOTH boxes on the form.
b. If your property only receives Homestead Tax Relief, choose 'I receive Homestead Tax Relief' and Enter (type in) '5819' in the Homestead box on the form.
c. If your property only receives Farmstead Tax Relief, choose 'I receive Farmstead Tax Relief' and Enter (type in) '5819' in the Farmstead box on the form.
STEP 5:
Select the box "Calculate Proposed Tax Bill".
STEP 6:
The return answer will be the 2017 Net Assessment Amount you are required to pay real estate taxes on and the bottom boxes show your proposed tax bills at 2% Discount, Flat Rate and 10% Penalty and the dates they are due to be paid at those amounts.
